Careen Dance Studio - Nurturing Young Dancers in Ringwood & Lilydale

At Careen Dance Studio, we've been a part of the Ringwood community since 1986, founded by the passionate mother/daughter duo, Carol Booth and Maureen Cole (hence the name Carol Maureen). In 1997, we extended our dance family to the Lilydale area. With over three decades of commitment to dance education, we continue to inspire young dancers.

Our primary goal is to instill a deep love for dance and to empower our students with boosted self-esteem and unwavering confidence. We understand the importance of creating a nurturing and supportive environment for young talents.

A Diverse World of Dance Education

In both our Ringwood and Lilydale studios, our dedicated dance teachers provide an array of dance styles, including Jazz, Hip Hop, Classical Ballet, Tap, Neo-Classical, Lyrical, Acrobatics, Strength & Conditioning, and Contemporary. We're proud to offer opportunities for students to participate in examinations under the State Dance Association (SDA) syllabus, fostering a strong foundation in dance education.

Our commitment to excellence doesn't stop there. For those who wish to take their passion to the next level, we offer the chance to pursue a Teacher's Diploma, a path to becoming dance educators themselves. Examinations are held twice yearly, ensuring growth and development.

Joining Our Dance Family

At Careen Dance Studio, we also nurture the talents of our students through Competition Troupes. When our dedicated teachers identify students with exceptional capabilities, they extend an invitation to join an age-appropriate troupe class. This invitation is both verbal and in writing, ensuring that parents are well-informed and available to support their child's commitment to this exciting journey.

It's worth noting that many of our students have gone on to pursue full-time dance studies, a testament to the strong foundation and unwavering support they receive at Careen Dance Studio.

Join our vibrant dance family and watch your child's passion for dance soar. Let us inspire, empower, and guide the next generation of dancers in Ringwood and Lilydale.
